I’m Ian MacLeod, an experienced professional basketball coach, coach educator and programme developer with a proven track record across professional, international and youth basketball.
I spent 10 years coaching in the British Basketball League with Newcastle Eagles, winning 11 major trophies. My experience also includes coaching within both the Great Britain and England national player development pathways.
As a Level 3 Advanced Basketball Coach and current Head of Basketball at Newcastle Eagles Academy, I have extensive experience in developing players, mentoring coaches and building successful basketball programmes.
I now use that experience to support schools, clubs and organisations through coach and teacher development, basketball programme consultancy and specialist basketball camps, helping create sustainable environments where coaches and players can thrive.
If I can support you or your programme in any way, I would be happy to talk.
